History of Dilgard Open
The Dilgard Open Golf Tournament was created by Rev. Howard Washburn in honor of former CEO Dr. Charles K. Dilgard, to recognize his 28 years of service to Otterbein upon his retirement.
He also led Otterbein management services for communities in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Elyria. He received honors from local, state, and national organizations serving older persons and was honored by both Ashland and Otterbein Universities.
This annual Golf Tournament benefits the Otterbein Endowment and is in Memory of Sarah Dilgard and Otterbein Hospice.
