At Otterbein Union Township, residents, whom we refer to as elders, live in one of five welcoming small houses, each offering a private suite for comfort, inviting shared spaces for connection, and home-cooked meals enjoyed around the table. This warm, close-knit environment makes it easy to provide care that’s truly personal, ensuring every elder feels valued, understood, and supported in daily life.
With our “Small House … Big Difference” approach, life here is about more than care — it’s about building genuine friendships, creating meaningful moments, and embracing each day with joy. The Union Township SeniorLife Neighborhood offers a fresh alternative to traditional rehab, long-term care, and memory support, focusing on honoring personal choices and tailoring support to each individual’s unique needs and preferences.

Care Choices at Otterbein Union Township
Elders at Otterbein Union Township have access to care from a dedicated team of licensed nurses, nursing assistants (referred to as Elder Assistants), and therapists. Residents can stay long-term or temporarily for rehabilitation after an injury or illness. We focus on personalized care, ensuring each individual receives the support they need. At Otterbein, everyone is treated like family, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
