Visitation Information and Guidelines

Keeping our communities and neighborhoods safe and healthy.

Otterbein SeniorLife will continue to prioritize protecting residents in congregate settings, while identifying responsible and safe ways to allow family members to interact, in keeping with guidance from CMS (the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and the Department of Health.

  • Otterbein SeniorLife cares for the most vulnerable people affected by COVID-19, and other infectious diseases, and makes decisions out of an abundance of caution.
  • Otterbein SeniorLife is able to enable visitation, according to defined guidelines and established protocol.
  • Visiting areas of care may be suspended based upon new regulations or active COVID-19 cases on campus.
  • Testing protocols, including days between tests,  may be updated in alignment with active COVID-19 cases on campus and/or by the percentage of positive cases in the county of the Otterbein location.
  • Please note that protocols directed by CMS and the DOH are ever-changing. We suggest calling your community or neighborhood directly before you come for a visit.
