A Look Inside The Woodlands’ Apartments
When you decide to move to The Woodlands, one of the first decisions you’ll make is to choose which apartment is the best space to create your new home. This home will be where you relax, host family and friends, and pursue your passions and hobbies. At The Woodlands, there are many one- and two-bedroom apartment styles to choose from to fit your lifestyle.

For resident Barbara C., the perfect home was The Woodlands’ largest one-bedroom floor plan, option “E.” As you enter this apartment, you’ll find yourself in the updated kitchen, which features full-sized appliances and modern granite countertops. Beyond the kitchen is a large living room with plenty of space for a comfortable living room set.
Barbara’s chosen apartment style offers plenty of room for additional living space. Off to the side of the living room is a bonus area, which is designed to provide space for a dining room table but can be used for a variety of purposes – a small reading nook, an office, a crafting space, or whatever suits your needs.
“It’s a simply beautiful apartment,” said Barbara. “It’s very large, with an additional dining area, or what I use as an office.”
Off the living room is your outdoor space. Every apartment home of this type features a patio or balcony, an amenity that Barbara loves.

“The patio is the best part; it looks out over beautiful gardens and woods,” she said. “Gorgeous views.”
Two windows in the bedroom let in natural light, creating a cozy atmosphere. Here, there is ample room for your bedroom set for a truly relaxing haven. The walk-in closet and full bathroom round out the space in this one-bedroom apartment home.
Amenities, Dining Options, and More at The Woodlands
For Barbara, the best part of moving to The Woodlands is the included services. “I do no cooking at all,” said Barbara. “I love not having to cook.”
Instead, Barbara chooses to have most of her meals in The Woodlands’ dining room, which is a restaurant-style experience. If the weather is nice, residents can choose to dine outside on the patio. If indoor dining is more your style, Barbara describes the dining room as “beautiful.” Mealtimes at The Woodlands are enjoyed in cozy venues filled with lots of natural light and ambiance.

With a variety of chef-prepared meals available every night, including shrimp scampi, soups, salads, beef Wellington, chicken Oscar, and fresh fish baked or grilled to order, residents are delighted by the many options.
Beyond dining, services and amenities at The Woodlands include scheduled transportation, light housekeeping, maintenance, an onsite salon and barbershop, regularly scheduled events and programming, and access to a variety of physical exercise options.
Residents of The Woodlands frequent the wooded surroundings of the campus, whether it’s a stroll on the walking path or other outdoor group activities. They also love spending time together exploring a variety of common interests, such as wine tasting, playing bridge, or simply enjoying pleasant conversation.
“We have a fitness room with NuStep machines, treadmills, and bicycles. I use those often. The campus is very beautiful, so a lot of [residents] walk around the campus,” said Barbara. “I would highly recommend The Woodlands to anyone,” she continued. “The staff is extremely friendly; I’ve never met a nicer, friendlier staff that goes out of their way to be helpful.”
