Otterbein Granville offers memory support services but does not offer full-scale memory care. Our memory support programming encourages self-esteem and independence while providing the consistent, attentive care each resident deserves. Led by compassionate, specially trained partners (employees), our approach evolves with individual needs and the latest research — always keeping quality of life at the center of everything we do.
Our team facilitates physical and memory support programming for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia.
These programs include:
- Linked Senior – a digital platform that provides life enrichment and encourages engagement in those living with dementia through a touch screen app
- Music and Memory™ – a customized playlist of each resident’s music preferences
- Opening Minds Through Art – an intergenerational art-making program that pairs residents with volunteers who meet once weekly throughout the course
