Defining Our Power of Purpose

Welcome to Otterbein SeniorLife Philanthropy

It’s been said the most important sign of a healthy nonprofit is the relationship between the CEO and the volunteer Board Chair. And how fitting, since everything we do at Otterbein, and in our work of Philanthropy, begins with building authentic relationships of trust. Jill Wilson, Otterbein President & CEO shares “Here at Otterbein, we are blessed in this regard, with an exceptional thought partner in our Volunteer Board Chair, Bill Brownson. Bill brings inspired insights and a personal passion to the work of Philanthropy.” Bill expressed his passion in saying “We have a calling to be the antidote to social isolation and an epidemic of loneliness. Our collective work is to clearly define how we harness our power of purpose, both individually and collectively, as One Otterbein.”

Partners in Caring (PIC) Fund

Otterbein SeniorLife believes in showing compassion not just for our residents, but for our partners. That’s why we have established the Otterbein Partners-in-Caring (PIC) Fund — a fund established BY partners, FOR partners, to connect us as ONE Otterbein. This fund is designated to support our fellow partners through a time of crisis when they need it most.
